Getting started

Your first NIM workflow

Connect your data. Validate your first workflow.

NIM uses data from systems such as HR to manage accounts and access in other systems. Follow this path to install NIM, learn the building blocks, and build a first workflow with your own source and target systems.

Before you begin

This path is for administrators setting up NIM for the first time. You should be comfortable managing Windows Server and the systems you plan to connect.

A place to install NIM

Have a Windows Server environment, permission to install software, the NIM installer, and your license code ready.

Check server requirements

Your implementation scope

Choose the source system, target system, and records appropriate for your implementation. The implementing administrator decides which environment and accounts to use. Confirm you have access to connect both systems.

Find your connector setup guide

Follow the setup guide

Follow these stages in order, or open the guide you need. Each link takes you to the instructions for that task.
