Use the vendor resources and connector reference to prepare an Ellucian Cloud connection in NIM.
Prepare the connection
Before you beginMake sure you have the Ellucian Cloud connection details and the API access required for the data you plan to collect.
The Ellucian Cloud connector uses REST. Configuration requirements can vary by Ellucian environment and the APIs enabled for your organization.
Configuration resources
Use the following resources while completing the connection in NIM:
- Review your Ellucian Cloud vendor documentation for the required endpoint, authentication, and API permissions.
- Review the Tools4ever Ellucian Cloud connector repository for connector-specific reference material.
- After saving the system in NIM, run a collection and verify that the expected tables are available.
Validate the result
- Confirm the collection completes without an error.
- Open the collected tables and verify the expected academic, employee, organizational, person, or student data is present.
- If data is missing, verify the selected API access with your Ellucian administrator before collecting again.
