Import or export a filter

Import a filter

Import a filter that you previously exported, to restore or duplicate it.

1. Go to Processing > Filters.
2. Click Import.
3. In the Select File field, select a .json filter backup file that you previously exported.
4. Select Generate Unique Name(s) to create a new filter, or select Overwrite Existing Filter(s) With The Same Name to overwrite an existing filter.
5. Click Import.
6. The imported filter is added to the Filters pane.

Export a filter

Export a filter to back it up to a JSON file.

To instead back up your entire NIM environment, see Repositories.

1. Go to Processing > Filters.
2. Click Export Filter for the relevant filter.
3. The .json backup file is downloaded in your browser.
